Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes for cross country on Thursday morning, with Walla Walla University (WWU) totaling three award winners from their women's team.
In order to be nominated by an institution, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for the honor.
A total of 347 females received this honor, while 223 males were honored.
