KIRKLAND, Wash. —
Emily Mijaljevic scored her first goal for the Wolves, but Walla Walla Women's Soccer fell to Northwest 7-1 in a Cascade Conference contest on Sunday.
Mijaljevic found the back of the net in the 82nd minute for Walla Walla (0-9, 0-9) and is the third different goal scorer for WWU this season.
Northwest (9-4-3, 5-2-3) had already done the damage by the time the Wolves were able to get on the board. Gracie VanAssche had a hat trick including two goals in a short period of time in the second half.
Allanah Rodriguez-Facio was able to add to her save total with 10 on the day, but the WWU goalie was under pressure all game long with 32 shots attempted by the Eagles.
