Beacons best Wolves

EUGENE, Ore. — Walla Walla Women's Soccer kept Bushnell off the board in the first half, but the Beacons earned a 2-0 victory in a Cascade Conference contest on Friday.

Bushnell (2-3-2, 1-2) put the game winner into the net in the 65th minute off the shoe of Charlotte Vandercar. Stephanie Llanos added to the lead in the 85th minute.

Walla Walla (0-3, 0-3) was only able to get one shot off in the match, but it was a great opportunity. Kaitlyn Miclette had a penalty shot in the 69th minute with a chance to tie the game, but Ana Augusto dove to her left for the save.

Allanah Rodriguez-Facio had 13 saves in the contest to add to her season total. Rodriguez-Facio now has 64 saves and a 0.810 save percentage on the year.
