Greg Dodds

Gregory Dodds enters his third season as an assistant coach for Walla Walla University men’s and women’s golf in 2026-27.

Dodds also serves as professor of history and chair of the Department of History at Walla Walla University. His passion for mentoring students extends beyond the classroom and onto the golf course, where he helps student-athletes develop both skills and character.

Prior to joining the WWU coaching staff, Dodds served as a golf coach at Walla Walla Valley Academy from 2019-25. His coaching experience also includes basketball and volleyball, as well as work as a certified IFSA freeride ski coach.

Dodds holds a Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University (2004), an M.B.A. from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management, and an M.A. from Claremont Graduate University (2001). He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Walla Walla University in 1997 and an Associate of Science from Andrews University in 1995.

A lifelong educator and mentor, Dodds combines academic expertise with a passion for athletics, helping guide Wolves student-athletes toward success in competition, the classroom, spiritually and in life.
