10/12/2015 2:40:00 AM

Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash.  – Walla Walla University (0-8, 0-8) fought hard but couldn't overcome Eastern Oregon's (4-6, 3-4) 14-3 shots on goal advantage as they drop a Cascade Collegiate Conference match up 1-4.

The Mountaineers got on the board first when a Robert Wilson header found the back of the net from a Steven Beaudry pass just 4:21 into the game. The rest of the half belonged to Wolves keeper Josh Fry who aggressively defended the home goal tonight with numerous dives and totaling seven saves for the half. Earning him the affectionate nickname of "The Wall" from the vocal crowd.

The second half brought three more goals from EOU players. Alex Gutierrez (51:49) with an assist from Uriel Torres-Carrillo and two unassisted goals by Fredy Rodriguez (52:24) and Osvaldo Martinez (65:23).

Eastern Oregon's strong defense would only allow three shots on goal by Walla Walla's players but Edwin Munoz (88:45) made his one shot count by scoring the Wolves only goal of the night.

The Wolves travel to Corban and Northwest Christian next while the Mountaineers travel to Rocky Mountain and College of Idaho.
