Box Score Not even a downpour of rain can stop the WWU Wolves (0-15-, 0-13) from doing what they love. The men worked hard tonight as the University of Great Falls Argos (12-5, 10-3) appeared to excel in the relentless rain.
The Wolves came out of the gat strong when
Aaron Martinez scored the first goal of the night, assisted by
Brook Fesler. Within the first period however, the Argos scored six goals: two by Ranan Zampieri, one by Luis Torres, one by Jordan Byland, one by Jon-Eric Krans, and one by Ian Ooko. Wolf #7
Marco Martinez made six shots, helping the Wolves keep up with the talented Argos.
Â
In the second period, the Argos scored three more goals, made by Ian Ooko, Tyler Uddin, and Christoffer Bisbo. Goalkeepers tonight,
Josh Fry and
Daniel Hincapie snagged a total of 11 saves, while the Argos had three saves. The game might have ended in a giant muddle puddle, but that only proves these teams are truly dedicated to their sport.Â
This was the final game for your WWU soccer team for the 2015 season. Thanks to the fans who came out, rain or shine, to support your team.
