Helena, Mont. – A motivated Saints team were looking to lock up a fifth place finish today in Cascade Conference play and they did just that, defeating the Wolves 4-0.  Walla Walla (0-13) played there last conference game today and Carroll College (10-8, 85) is headed on to the CCC playoffs next weekend and will play Southern Oregon on the road next weekend in the opening round.

The first goal of the game came in the 28th minute of the match.  Henry Smaldon set a ball across the middle and Sam Malouf sent it passed the keeper for the opening point of the match.  A moment later, the second goal was scored when a missed placed clear was deflected to Javi Navas and he put in a shot from 18 yards out.  The final goal of the half came again from Henry Smaldon after a quick pass from Riley Prescott to Zach Walder who headed that ball to Smaldon for the goal form six yards out.

The Finally goal of the match came from Eli Fox who headed that ball into the goal off a pass from Dylan Allen.

The Wolves had limited scoring opportunities in the match, but Josh Fry had a big game, coming up with 18 stops in the match.  Today's match was the final of the season for the Wolves, and the team will now take some time off before preparing for next season.  We will have a recap of the season in the coming weeks and a look to what lies ahead for the Wolves going into next season.
