Knights Defeat Wolves in Three Straight Sets

College Place, Wash. - Warner Pacific score the first point of the night on a Kill by Lauren Jones and went on to take the match in three straight sets (15-25, 17-25, 13-25).  The Knights (4-2, 3-1) controlled the lead through the majority of the match tonight over the Wolves (0-5, 0-4). Janessa Mast lead the Knights with 17 kills and Janessa White finished with the second most on the team with 7. 

During the second set Walla Walla took the lead at 6-4, before Warner Pacific went on a 6 point run to take back control of the set.  In the third set the scoring was back and forth with WWU battling to get the score to 9-11 before WPC took full control of the Match and went on to win 13-25.

Morgan Doyle and Ashlyn Ghazal lead the Wolves with 5 kills apiece and Nilah Mata'afa 11 assists and 3 digs.  WWU finishes up the fourth and fifth games of their road trip tomorrow at Pacific University.  They will take on Simpson University at 10am, and Pacific University at 3pm.
