College Place, Wash.- Oregon Tech jumped out early off a penalty kick from Lodewijk Bloemzaad and the Owls never looked back. The Wolves in their second game of the season struggle to contain the Oregon Tech attack, giving up 12 goals before the night was over. The Owls Clayton Maves has a goal and two assists on the night, and Austin Schoemann came up with a hat trick.
The Owls really came out strong on the attack, despite the soggy conditions on the night, they manage to score five goals in the first 15 minutes of the match. Oregon Tech made several substitutions in the first half, and continued a steady stream of goals, going up nine to zero before the half ended.Â
The beginning of the second period saw the Wolves best stretch on the pitch so far. Walla Walla had several shots on goal and held the Owls scoreless for just over 20 minutes, before an Emil Brown.
The Wolves are back in action next weekend at home. They take on College of Idaho, 3:00pm on Friday and Rocky Mountain College on Sunday at 1:00 pm.Â
