College Place, Wash. – The Lady Wolves were in Salem, Oregon Sunday to take on the #15 Corban University Warriors (10-5).  Walla Walla (1-10) was not able to get momentum in the match, as the highly ranked Warriors beat the Lady Wolves in straight sets.

The Numbers

  • Warrior Amber Parker's 18 kills led all players
  • Madison McLain had 26 assists for Corban and Krista Schafer led Walla Walla with 9

How It Happened

The story of this match was the Warriors consistency on the attack.  Corban's Amber Parker and Adriana Aguayo were the driving force at the net, combing for 27 of the Warriors 47 kills.  Walla Walla struggled with a few errors in the match, but overall the consistent play of Corban did the most damage.  The Lady Wolves played at their best in the third set, playing even with the Warriors for several points and with kills from Jenn Bosler and Sarah Halversen.  Corban answered that with a long run and firmly locked up the set.  Amber Parker scored the final point of the match as the Warriors won 3-0 over Walla Walla.
