Spokane, Wash. – The Wolves wrapped up their preseason by heading to Spokane for a matchup against Northwest Conference (NWC) opponent, the Pirates of Whitworth University. This was the Wolves third matchup in the NCAA Div-3 conference.
THE BASICS:

GAME NOTES:
Wolves led 14-5 halfway through the first quarter.
Aaliyah Anderson led the Wolves with seven points during the run.
Whitworth ended the 1st quarter on 18-0 run and held a 16-point lead at halftime.
Carolina Montes scored 7 in the 3rd quarter, however Walla Walla got outscored 16-12 in the 3rd quarter. The Pirates took a 20 point lead heading into the 4th quarter and would hold on to win by 19.
WWU shot 39 percent from the field and 61 percent from the free-throw line. The Wolves committed 22 turnovers leading to 25 Pirate points.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHTS:
Aaliyah Anderson led the Wolves with 24 points while
Carolina Montes chipped in 11 points. Anderson led the Wolves in rebounding with eight while
Montes contributed three and added three assists.
NEXT GAME:
The Wolves open up their conference season on Saturday, December 1st as they welcome in Northwest University for a weekend series on Windemuth Court. Tipoff for the first game will start at 6 p.m.
