McMinnville, Ore. – Walla Walla concluded their preseason, taking on the Wildcats of Linfield College (LC). Unfortunately for the Wolves, a 1-0 halftime deficit could not be overcome and they dropped the match, 5-0.
The first half was a defensive battle as each team had opportunities to score, however, in the 38th minute, the Wildcats finally broke through via Cruz-Espindola who found the back of the net off a pass from Gerardo Perez, which gave Linfield College their only goal of the half. They would hold onto this lead and add four more goals throughout the second half.

THE NUMBERS:
- The Wolves had one shot on goal, compared to nine for Linfield College.
- Linfield College picked up three of their five goals within a span of 10 minutes late in the second half.
