Women's Volleyball Drops Match at Evergreen State College

Olympia, Wash. –  Walla Walla traveled to Olympia, Wash. to take on the Geoducks of Evergreen State College for a 4 p.m. matchup for their final matchup of the season. Despite a career-high 10 kills from Caldora Blackburn, the Wolves could not overcome the Geoducks attack and dropped the match in straight sets, 18-25, 12-25, 18-25.

GAME NOTES:
  • The Wolves posted another positive attacking percentage, registering a .065 mark, their sixth consecutive one.
  • The Geoducks recorded 37 kills while the Wolves notched 29 over the three sets.
PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:
  • ESC was led by a balanced attack, as four Geoducks  recorded at least six kills, while Sierra Wolff notched 28 assists.
  • The Wolves were led by Caldora Blackburn (10 kills, .381 %), while setters Krista Schafer and Ka'iulani Chamberlain each had 11 assists.

NEXT GAME:
The Wolves will head home and welcome in the Knights of Warner Pacific University (2-7, 1-4 CCC). First serve is set to begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3 on Windemuth Court.
