Men's Soccer Falls to Northwest University

Kirkland, Wash. – Walla Walla concluded their first conference road trip by traveling to the Eagles of Northwest University. It was a defensive battle in the first half as neither team could not find the back of the net. A quick score by the Eagles in the second half, the first of two second-half goals, ended up being the difference, as they would shut out the Wolves to move to 2-2 in conference play while the loss dropped the Wolves to 1-3.

A scoreless first half was broken quickly into the second half in the 46th minute as Kyle Han found the back of the net. In the 73rd minute, the Eagles put an insurance goal on the board off the leg of Joey Starr. The Wolves, not having many scoring opportunities, could not break through the Eagles defense and would be shut out in the match.
