COLLEGE PLACE, WASH. - Holly Golenor scored a game-high 24 points to help lead Corban University past the Wolves Saturday night, as the Warriors held Walla Walla to 35-percent shooting for the game.

 GAME NOTES:

• Isabella Robles shot 3-for-4 from beyond the arc to help the Wolves take a 21-13 lead after the opening quarter.
• With the game tied at 23-23, the Warriors ended the second quarter on a scoring flurry with a 20-2 run to take a 43-25 halftime lead.
• Corban pushed their lead out to 20-plus points midway through the third quarter, but the Wolves battled back over the next 10-plus minutes, eventually cutting the deficit to single digits at 65-58 after a layup by Carolina Montes-Estrada.
• The Warriors had an answer, however, as they extended their lead back to double-digits and cut any chance the Wolves had in the past two minutes to secure the victory.

 PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:

• Holly Golenor led the Warriors with her 7th double-double of the season, scoring 24 points to go along with 13 rebounds, while Gemma LaVergne just missed a triple-double, notching 13 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds.
• Carolina Montes-Estrada (21 points), Isabella Robles (19 points), and Jannah Follett (career-high 10 points) paced the Wolves offense.

Walla Walla hits the road next weekend, traveling to Kirkland and Olympia to take on Northwest University and The Evergreen State College.
