MBB Weekend Recap: A Challenging Road Trip for The Wolves

La Grande, Ore. - The Wolves struggled in their weekend matches against Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho. Walla Walla lost their game Friday afternoon on January 27 and their game Saturday evening on the 28th.

Walla Walla vs. Eastern Oregon 91-53
 
The Mountaineers were led by Preston Chandler with 21 points, and his teammates put in the work on free throws averaging at 90% for all four quarters. With the wolves averaging at 75% for their free throws, they were unable to score enough points to catch up.

  • Caleb Golden scored 14 points for the wolves.
  • Ethan Ford had 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.
  • Easis Ford contributed in other ways with 3 assists and 2 blocks.

With a strong and high-scoring first quarter, College of Idaho secured the win early on in this game against Walla Walla. Johnny Radford scored 23 points and Jake O'Neil scored 17 points to help the coyotes gain the lead.

However, the Yotes' shots were falling well allowing them to go home with the win. With a fresh start, the Wolves' have a busy schedule at home this week.
