Box Score 2 Portland, Ore. — The Wolves made history this past weekend. For the first time, the Wolves have won back-to-back CCC games. This has not happened since joining the league in 2015. The Wolves brought home two wins against Multnomah and Warner Pacific. The Wolves played Multnomah on Friday, January 6, taking their first conference win of the 22-23 season. Saturday night the Wolves took on Warner Pacific, which then led to victory as they got their second conference win.
Walla Walla vs. Multnomah: 71-61
In this matchup, it was a fight all the way to the end. The Wolves and the Multnomah Lions fought hard, keeping the score close throughout. It wasn't until the end of the third quarter when Senior Guard, Savanah Zamora, drained both of her free throws to help push the Wolves to go from being ahead by one point, to being ahead by three. This was the momentum they needed to turn the game around. Walla Walla continued with their lead, creating a 10 point gap, which allowed them to take home their first conference win of the 22-23 season.

Walla Walla vs. Warner Pacific: 44-37
The Wolves had the upper hand the majority of the game with a 16 point lead up until the fourth quarter when Warner Pacific decided it wasn't over yet. Warner Pac came back to close the gap to three points at the 6 minute mark of the fourth quarter. In this nail-biter, the Wolves continued to fight to make sure that 3 points was the closest the Warner Pacific Knights were going to get, leading to their victory over the Knights, 44-37.

The Wolves are back at home this upcoming weekend, where they face Southern Oregon University on Friday, January 13 at 12pm. Followed by Oregon Tech, Saturday night at 7 pm.
