Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Walla Walla Wolves took on the Geoducks of Evergreen State College Friday afternoon. The match ended with the Geoducks taking the win, 3-1.
Within the first minute of the game, the Wolves took control of the ball, pushing through the Geoducks defense, making their third goal of the season by Eduardo Gonzaelz-Mora. The Geoducks were not going to let this go lightly, coming back and scoring two goals of their own. The first goal was taken by Andreas Malunat in the 18th minute, followed by Alan Barragan who scored the second goal in the 25th minute and was assisted by Andreas Malunat. The first half ended 2-1 with the Geoducks taking the lead.
In the second half Walla Walla struggled on the offense, only taking one shot compared to Evergreen's 20. Dakota Seddon made the third goal for Evergreen in the 52nd minute of the game, which eventually led to their victory over the Wolves. Wolves' Diego Molina had six saves for the match, and Brendan Gribek had one save for the Geoducks.
The Wolves will be back on Sunday, October 15 at 1 pm on home field against the Northwest Eagles.
