Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Wolves went up against the Raiders of Southern Oregon University Saturday evening, who are ranked #16 in the NAIA and #3 in the CCC. The match was in favor of the Raiders, with a 3-0 sweep.
Even though the match did not go in the Wolves favor, Walla Walla brought the energy, and played a good game. They weren't going to let nationally ranked #16 Southern Oregon Raiders get by easy. The Wolves made sure to earn every point, leaving it all out on the court, which resulted in exciting rallies for both teams.
Coach Breayn Bussell states, "The team's energy was much better today than yesterday's match. Oregon is a strong team, but the girls [Walla Walla] kept their heads up showing real maturity throughout the game."
On the Raiders side, Marin Mackey led the team with 12 kills, followed by Hannah Stadstad who had 11, and Megan Perry who had 10. Annie Hite led with 20 assists, followed by Vitoria Mattos who had 17 for the night. Kylie Anderson had 17 digs for the night.

Walla Walla is on the road for their next games, where they will meet up with Warner Pacific in Portland, Oregon, Friday afternoon at 2 pm.
