COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Wolves win over the Multnomah Lions, 79-69, in their last game of the 22-23 season.
The Wolves came out hot and kept the momentum going the whole game. Despite the Lions best efforts, they were unable to come back. This makes history as the most wins the Wolves have had in a season since joining the Cascade Collegiate Conference. This win was also a great way for the seniors to end their career at Walla Walla University.
Senior Jaliyah Casem had a great final night with 26 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. Senior Savanah Zamora was on fire from the three going 4-6, contributing to her 16 points for the night. Senior Paulina Quintana had 5 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds to complete her final game. Chariah Daniels was the second top scorer with 18 points, she was also one rebound away from a double-double.
On the Lions end, Dalila Rincan led her team with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Alaygza Portis had 14 points for the game as well as 7 rebounds. Followed by Elise Graham, who had 13 points and 5 steals for the evening.
This game concludes the Wolves season, and we wish our seniors farewell and wish them the best as they embark on new journeys.
