Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Walla Walla University Wolves fall to the Northwest University Eagles unbreakable offense in a three set sweep on Saturday night (13-25, 13-25, 10-25).
The Wolves' energy was nowhere near the night before when they went up against The Evergreen State College Geoducks. Northwest came out ready and made sure to not let the Wolves break their momentum. This proved true as the Eagles offense was unbeatable with a total of 41 kills for the match compared to the Wolves' 15.
Despite the loss, newcomer Natalia Jimenez had a good night leading the Wolves in kills with five for the match. Setter Danielle Faamausili also had an impressive night earning herself two kills to go along with her seven assists and seven digs. Lauren Moody and Femke Eising both had two kills to end the match.
For Northwest, Delaney Sparks and Kaitlyn Mickle led the team in kills with nine a piece, followed by Kylie Lunday with seven. Morgan Harter had an amazing night with 19 assists followed by Allie Flynn who had 11. Libero Kelsey Moore added to the stats with 14 digs.
The Wolves are on the road for their next match against Southern Oregon University Raiders. First serve is at 2 pm in Ashland, Ore.
