COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Walla Walla Men's soccer (1-10-0, 1-10-0 CCC) played in their final home game of the 2024 season against Warner Pacific University (11-5-0, 7-4-0 CCC) Sunday afternoon. The Knights were able to secure the win after a well-fought battle against the Wolves, 2-1.

For the final home game of the season, the Wolves honored seniors, Andres Espinel and Vini Silva for their hard work and dedication to Wolves Soccer. 

After a scoreless first half, the Knights and the Wolves fought it out on the field, getting many attempts at a goal, but it wasn't until Warner Pacific's Craig Stephenson scored the first goal of the match at 73:38. Walla Walla responded by adding their own goal to the scoreboard by Daniel Velasco who was assisted by senior Andres Espinel at 76:42. The Knights then were able to score their second and final goal of the match at 78:48 by Abe Fuchs. The Wolves tried to get a tied game, but were unsuccessful, as the Knights took the win.
For goalies, Walla Walla's Sebastian Vargas had three saves, and Kylan LeGault had four, while the Knights' goalie, Jacob Ribail, had one save for the match. 

The Wolves will be on the road next weekend where they will go up against Bushnell University on Friday, November 1st at 2 pm.
