WALLA WALLA, Wash. —
Soren Dalan tied a career-high in points for the Walla Walla Men's Basketball team in an 89-74 loss to Eastern Oregon in a Cascade Conference game at Windemuth Court on Saturday.
The loss dropped the Wolves record to 1-8 overall and 1-5 in conference play. Eastern Oregon improved to 7-4 overall and 2-3 in CCC action.
Dalan was 11-of-21 from the floor and finished with 23 points. The sophomore led the Wolves with 11 rebounds.
Dillon Wasser added 13 points,
Andrew Vaughan added 11 and
Thomas Mestrov finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.
More than half of the Walla Walla points came inside the paint (36) and the Wolves took advantage of 13 Mountaineer turnovers to score 19 points.
All five Eastern Oregon starters reached double figures led by Garrett Hawkes who finished with 18 points. TJ Doman had 17 points, Jaden Hansen added 14, Brennen Newsom accounted for 13 points and Malachi Afework finished with 12.
