Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Merrick Tambia of Oregon Tech broke a scoreless tie in the 84th minute and the visiting Owls defeated Walla Walla 1-0 in a Cascade Conference men's soccer contest on Friday.

Neither team was able to push a goal across in the first half. Oregon Tech (7-4-5, 5-4-2) had four shots on goal and Walla Walla (3-8, 3-8) had three chances in a tough defensive first half.

Tambia took a pass by Cash Cota and put it past the Wolves' goalkeeper Sebas Vargas for the game winner.

Juan Lobos had two shots on goal for WWU and Eniola Smith had one as well.

Walla Walla will honor its seniors at 1 p.m. on Sunday before taking on Southern Oregon to wrap up the 2025 season.
