SALEM, Ore. —
Paulo Tostado had two goals for Walla Walla Men's Soccer, but Corban earned a 5-3 victory in a Cascade Conference game on Sunday.
Tostado scored in the 35th minute and added one late in the 88th minute for the Wolves (1-4, 1-4). The two goals for the freshman pushed his season total to six, which is tied for the most in a single season in program history since WWU joined the CCC in 2015. Carlos Cantu had six goals in 2018.
Juan Lobos found the back of the net for the second time this season with a goal in the 47th minute that cut the Corban lead to 3-2 at the time.
The Warriors (3-7-1, 1-3-1) put a mark on the scoreboard first on a goal by Alexander Guindy in the 23rd minute. Gerardo Lopez and Santiago Castano scored a goal each in a 2 minute span and pushed the lead to 3-1 at half. Guindy scored again in the 53rd minute and Nathan Martinez put the game out of reach with his first goal of the season in the 68th.
