KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Monday afternoon the Walla Walla Women's Volleyball team heard the news it had been waiting all weekend to hear. The Wolves are headed to the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship Opening Round.

It is the first time in program history that WWU will participate in the NAIA National Tournament as the Wolves continue a season of firsts and team records. Walla Walla will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to take on the (RV) Cornerstone Golden Eagles. It is the first time the two teams have met.

The winner of the match on Saturday will advance to Sioux City, Iowa for pool play at the 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship. Pool play will take place in Iowa on Dec. 3-5 with the national champion crowned on Dec. 9.
