BILLINGS, Mont. — The Walla Walla Men's Basketball team opened the 2025-26 season with a 91-53 loss on the road to Rocky Mountain on Sunday.
Freshman
Jordany Fils-Aime led the Wolves (0-1) with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field.
Chike Ezeonu and
Zeke Virtudes had nine points each.
Soren Dalan had eight of the 22 rebounds for Walla Walla.
Four players scored in double figures for Rocky Mountain (1-0). Kyle Jones led the way with 16 points. Omari Nesbit contributed 15 points and both Drew Bowman and Mekhi Jourdan finished with 10. Carter McCoy had nine rebounds and Royce Robinson had four assists for the Bears.
Rocky Mountain shot 49.3% from the field, had 33 points off turnovers and 23 second chance points. The Wolves were outrebounded 42-22 and turned the ball over 23 times.

The Wolves will look to bounce back with a road contest against Whitworth in Spokane on Saturday.
