LA GRANDE, Ore. — Walla Walla Men's Basketball team struggled to slow down Eastern Oregon in a 106-5 loss in a Cascade Conference contest on Saturday.
The loss dropped the Wolves to 0-8 overall and 0-2 in CCC play. The Mountaineers improved to 5-3 on the season and 2-0 in conference action.
Soren Dalan led Walla Walla with 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
Jordan Jackson and
Reese Snellman had 11 points each.
Chike Ezeonu had 11 rebounds and
Zeke Virtudes recorded three steals.
Trent Rodgers had a strong performance for Eastern Oregon with 30 points. James Bodily added 22 points, Cole Hammack had 15 points and Eamon Monahan filled the stat sheet with 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
The Mountaineers caused 20 turnovers and scored 35 points on those opportunities. EOU had 27 second chance points and 22 fast break points in the game.
