Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Walla Walla Women's Volleyball team bounced back with a strong performance against Evergreen State in a Cascade Conference match on Saturday.
The Wolves closed out the weekend road trip with a 25-16, 25-15, 25-13 victory over the Geoducks. Walla Walla improved to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in CCC play. Evergreen State dropped to 0-10 overall and 0-6 in the conference.
Yaimaris Garcia filled up the stat sheet once again with 13 kills, eight assists, four aces and three digs with a hit percentage of .409.
Sahara Browning had nine kills to just one error with a hit percentage of .444 and had 10 digs.
Paula Flores added eight kills and five digs.
Adree Selley led the Wolves with 12 digs and
Olivia Cheek had 17 assists for the visiting victors.
Sophia Scroggins led Evergreen State with seven kills. Jayden Vaimaona had 10 assists and Sue Losey had seven digs.
Walla Walla had a hit percentage of .278 as a team with 15 service aces. The Wolves had 38 digs and 33 assists as a team.

The Wolves return home for two massive games. Walla Walla hosts No. 12 College of Idaho at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26 and No. 1 Eastern Oregon at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Windemuth Court.
