COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Paulo Tostado scored in the 10th minute for Walla Walla Men's Soccer, but Providence of Montana scored twice in the first half to win 2-1 in a Cascade Conference contest on Friday.

Tostado gave Walla Walla (1-2, 1-2) an early lead with his fourth goal in three games. Juan Lobos was credited with the assist.

Musa Jallow tied the game for Providence (2-4-1, 2-1) in the 22nd minute. Geovanni Lugo recorded the game winner in the 38th minute for UP. The Argos scored two goals on just three shots in the first half.

The Wolves outshot the visitors 11-3 in the first half, but were only able to find the net once. Walla Walla was outshot 11-4 in the second half, but battled defensively to keep Providence from extending the lead.
