COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. —
Brianna Vidali-Rood scored first for the Walla Walla Women's Soccer team, but it was Providence of Montana that earned a 3-1 victory in a Cascade Conference game on Friday.
Vidali-Rood broke a scoreless game in the 71st minute and gave the Wolves (0-3, 0-3) their first lead in a CCC contest in program history.
Brooklyn Poole knotted up the score in the 78th minute and gave the Argos (2-2-2, 2-1) the advantage less than four minutes later. Kailey Camper put the game away 43 seconds after Poole scored her second goal with a goal of her own and that was the difference in the contest.
Allanah Rodriguez-Facio of WWU had another strong day at net and collected 12 goals as she kept Providence off the scoreboard for a good portion of the game.
Anahi Mora had two shots on goal for the Wolves and Vidali-Rood had two as well.Â
