COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Walla Walla Men's Basketball team led by as many as 14 and took a seven-point advantage into halftime, but fell to Corban 90-76 in a Cascade Conference game on Saturday night.

Before the game, the Wolves honored their four seniors: Neri Tor, Jt Fenz, Jordan Jackson and Chike Ezeonu. WWU also honored former player Giovanni Moncion who will also graduate this year from Walla Walla University.

The Wolves finished the season 1-25 overall and 1-19 in conference play. The Warriors concluded the regular season with an even 14-14 overall record and 10-10 in CCC action.

Jackson led WWU with 22 points with four 3-pointers. Ezeonu finished his final game with 16 points and nine rebounds. Reese Snellman added 13 points and Soren Dalan had another double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The Wolves led by one early in the game before they went on a 10-0 run and extended their lead to 19-8 with 13:28 remaining in the first half. Corban battled back to cut the advantage to six with back-to-back buckets. Jackson made 3s on two straight trips down the floor and Snellman scored inside and gave WWU its largest lead of the night, 27-13.

The Warriors battled back and cut the margin to just seven by the halftime break when Anjay Cortez connected on a jumper with three seconds remaining. The score was 44-37 in favor of the home team as the two teams headed to the locker room.

It only took two minutes and seven seconds for Corban to erase the deficit completely when Tj Zimmerman made a 3-pointer and tied the game up 44-44. The two teams traded the lead for the next several minutes before the Warriors took hold of the lead for good on a 3 by Landon Knox. Corban led 66-64 with 9:16 remaining and never relinquished the advantage again.
