REDDING, Calif. — The Walla Walla Men's Volleyball team rebounded after losing the first two sets to Simpson and won the third set in a four-set loss in the conclusion of the CalPac Jamboree on Friday.
The Red Hawks earned a 25-16, 25-12, 16-25, 25-15 victory over the Wolves.
Walla Walla returns home with a record of 0-9 overall and 0-5 in conference play.
Ethan Gaines led the Wolves with eight kills and added six digs.
Jonathan Vasquez Tobar had 12 assists and two aces and Frank Avila Ribeiro finished with nine digs.
WWU had a strong third set as the Wolves had a .231 hitting percentage as a team and it led to the first set victory during the California trip.

Walla Walla returns home for an exhibition game against the Central Washington Volleyball Club and will honor its seniors at 8:30 p.m. on March 14.
