Portland, Ore. - In the 2nd meet up between the two teams, the Wolves came out cold, whereas Multnomah came out hot—making four threes within the first five minutes of the first half. After a timeout called by Coach Broome, the Wolves came back fired up, playing a strong defense—creating many steals. Yet the Lions played hard, however, fighting through the Wolves' defense, securing the lead at the end of the first half, 37-26.
Going into the second half, the Wolves had a slippery start—they could not keep their hands on the ball leading to multiple turnovers. The hoop was also not a fan of the Wolves tonight, with shots just rolling in and popping out, and was a huge factor in the Wolves' game.
14 minutes into the second half, the Wolves were down by nine, fighting hard to take control of the game. Anytime the Wolves would put up numbers on the scoreboard, closing the gap, the Lions would run the ball down draining three after three—not letting the Wolves take the lead at any time in the game.
Though fighting hard, the Wolves could not catch up. The Wolves lost to the Lions 76-91.
KiAndre Gaddy had another good night with 34 points and 12 rebounds. Alongside Gaddy,
Dylan Browning had 16 points to help the Wolves.
