Olympia, Wash. – Walla Walla women's basketball traveled to Evergreen State College. The Geoducks outscored the Wolves 52-24 in the second half to erase a first-half deficit to pick up their first conference win. The Geoducks were led by center Merrily Jones, who tied a career-high with 28 points, while forward
Jacqueline Saucedo recorded 20 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to lead the Wolves in the loss.

GAME NOTES:
- The Wolves started the game off with a 7-0 run and extended their lead to double-digits before Merrily Jones knocked down a three-pointer just before the quarter ended to cut the Wolves lead to nine points at 18-9.
- The Wolves added onto their lead, starting the second quarter on a 6-0 run, as their lead reached its largest at 16 points. The Geoducks cut into the deficit, outscoring the Wolves 15-7 to end the half and trail 31-24.
- Midway through the third quarter the Geoducks took their first lead and extended their lead to 10 points before the Wolves finished the quarter on a 6-0 run to cut the deficit to three at 49-46.
- Evergreen started the final quarter with an 8-0 run to extend the lead back to double-digits, but the Wolves would cut it back to a six-point game at 57-51 midway through the quarter. The Geoducks would then blow the game wide open, ending the game on a 19-4 to secure the victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Wolves were outscored 31-17 on points off turnovers, as the Geoducks forced the Wolves into a season-high 26 turnovers.
- The Wolves were held to 33-percent shooting, while the Geoducks shot 41-percent
- The Wolves were led by the trio of Jacqueline Saucedo (20 points & 14 rebounds), Jaliyah Casem (12 points, five rebounds, & four steals), and Savanah Zamora (10 points, and seven rebounds).
