Olympia, Wash. – Walla Walla women's basketball were outscored 23-13 in the third quarter, as Evergreen State College picked up its second win over the Wolves in as many days. The Wolves erased a 19-point deficit in the second half but could not complete the comeback, as the Geoducks scored 11 straight points in the late stages of the fourth quarter to secure the win.

GAME NOTES:
- Both teams played a back-and-forth first quarter, as Evergreen held a slim two-point lead after the opening quarter, 12-10.
- The Geoducks built their lead to its largest at eight points midway through the second quarter, but the Wolves chipped away and cut the deficit to four points at 25-21. The Geoducks took a seven-point lead into the half at 33-26.
- Midway through the third quarter with the Geoducks still holding a seven-point, the home team had their best run of the game, extending their lead to 42-26 after a 9-0 gave Evergreen its largest lead. The lead reached 19 before free-throws cut the deficit to 17 at the end of the third quarter.
- The Wolves continued cutting into the deficit, riding nine straight points by Jaliyah Casem to bring the Wolves within five points at 56-51. An Isabella Robles three-pointer tied up the score at 58 with four minutes remaining, as the Wolves erased a 19-point deficit.
- Unfortunately for the Wolves, they would be stuck on 58 down the stretch for three-plus minutes while the Geoducks scored the next 11 points to help lead them to the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Wolves were outscored 18-7 on points off turnovers, as the Geoducks forced the Wolves into 22 turnovers.
- The Geoducks shot slightly better at 42-percent compared to 38-percent by the Wolves.
- The Geoducks were plus-10 in points in the paint while the Wolves knocked down eight three-pointers compared to five for the Geoducks.
- The Wolves were led by the trio of Jacqueline Saucedo (17 points & 10 rebounds), Jaliyah Casem (17 points, eight rebounds, & four assists), and Isabella Robles (14 points, and nine rebounds).
