KLAMATH FALLS, ORE. – The Walla Walla traveled to Klamath Falls for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships (CCC), which were being hosted by Oregon Tech at the Running Y Ranch Golf Course. The men placed in 10th place, while
Madelyn Stuart served as the lone runner for the women's team.
Final Results
Madelyn Stuart ran a time 25:15.20, placing her in 68th place in the 5K event, improving from her time of 26:49.40 she ran at the same course back at the CCC Preview.
On the men's side,
Justin Corral-Yanez led the Wolves, finishing in 45th, running an 8k time of 27:51.10.
William Su (51st), the next Wolves runner to place, ran a time of 28:39.50.
Hector Ruvalcaba (76th),
KiAndre Gaddy (82nd),
Avery Stuart (83rd), and
Justin Eslava (84th) rounded out the remaining Wolves runners, running times of 31:46.90, 39:35.50, 42:35.90, and 49:48.10, respectively.
The College of Idaho claimed both the men's and women's championships, as both ranked teams secured automatic bids to NAIA National Championships.
