COLLEGE PLACE, WASH. – The anticipation was finally over as Walla Walla officially begun their 2021 conference season, hosting the No.23-Ranked Warriors of Corban University. The Wolves held their ground in the first half, limiting the Warriors to a 1-0 lead heading into the break, but three second half goals would be the deciding factor, as the Warriors controlled the second half, leading to a 4-0 win over the Wolves.

THE NUMBERS:
- Wolves' goalkeeper Kudzai Mhondiwa registered 10 saves, as the Warrior attack notched 26 total shots.
- Carlos Llamosa (two goals), Alvaro Arche (one goal & one assist), and Alexis Luna (one goal) led the Warrior attack.
- Despite the loss, the Wolves showed incredible improvement when matched up against Corban. Prior to this match, the Wolves average defeat in five matchups against the Warriors sat at 8.4 goals scored per match and the four goals allowed tied the lowest.
