Women's Volleyball: Northwest University Drops Wolves in Straight Sets

COLLEGE PLACE, WASH. – Walla Walla continued their homestand, hosting Northwest University at Rogers Adventist School, which was coming off a five-set thriller last night at Lewis-Clark State College (Lewiston, Idaho). The Wolves could not over come errors, as the Eagles were able to take advantage of 18 total errors to fuel them to a win and drop the Wolves in straight sets, 25-17, 25-8, 25-18.

 GAME NOTES:
  • The Eagles recorded a .478 attack percentage for the match, converting 76 total attacks to 39 kills, while the Wolves were only able to register 17 kills in the three sets.
PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Eagles were led by Abi Broussard (12 kills) and Anna Saelens (34 assists)
  • The Wolves were led by Gabrielle Browning, who again posted double digit kills (10 kills), Anja Cole (six assists), and Meherio Krainer (five assists)
