Women's Basketball: No.22-Ranked Lewis-Clark State College Too Much for Wolves

LEWISTON - IDAHO - Reining WVT Laboratory Player of the Week Callie Stevens led the No.-22 Ranked Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) with 26 points, as the Warriors held Walla Walla to 15 first-half points for the win.

 GAME NOTES:

  • LCSC raced out to a 26-9 lead and would not look back, outscoring Walla Walla 46-15 in the first half, while holding the Wolves to under 20-shooting from the field.
  • The Warriors added to their lead in the second half, as the Wolves' offense never got into a rhythm.

 PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Callie Stevens paced five Warriors in double-figures with 26 points, while Maddie Holm just missed a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.
  • Isabella Robles and Clara Campos Wiltgen Guimaraes led the Wolves, each knocking down four three-pointers, while Holly Harrison led the Wolves in rebounding, grabbing a seven in the loss.

NEXT GAME:
Walla Walla travels to Oregon for their final two-game road trip of the season. The Wolves will take on Corban University in Salem on Friday, February 11 at noon and Bushnell University the following night at 7 p.m. in Eugene.
