COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – The Wolves struggled against the Owls losing 60-104. Oregon Tech had a strong offense with several players' shots falling all night.
Head coach, Brandon Broome, took the opportunity to give each of the players minutes. This allowed the team to practice their chemistry with different mixes of players on the court. Despite the strong hustle by the Wolves, the Owls kept their lead with a fast offense.
Ethan Ford led the team on both sides of the court with 5 defensive rebounds and 12 points. Andrew Vaughan followed behind with 10 points for the night and four rebounds.
Jay Elmore led the Owls with 21 points followed by Kam Osborn with 13 points. Shooting 56% from behind the three-point line, the Owls gained a heavy lead against the Wolves.
The Wolves used this game as an opportunity for improvement by scoring 10 more points in the second half than they did the first. WWU is up against Northwest for their next match on Friday, January 20 at 2 pm on home court.
