WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Walla Walla battled hard, but No. 2 College of Idaho was as advertised as the Wolves dropped a Cascade Conference game 106-58 at Windemuth Court on Friday.
The loss dropped the Wolves record to 1-7 overall and 1-4 in CCC play. College of Idaho improved to 9-1 overall and 4-0 in conference action.
Senior
Andrew Vaughan moved to third on the career 3-pointers made list for Walla Walla with his effort tonight. Vaughan made 3-of-5 from beyond the arc to increase his career total to 137 to pass Ethan Osias for third-place. Next up on the record book is Tristan Greenidge at 153.
Vaughan finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Thomas Mestrov had 11 points with three 3s and
Soren Dalan added nine.
Walla Walla was strong from beyond the arc on the day. The Wolves made 8-of-15 (53.3%) attempts.
Dougie People had 17 points and led five College of Idaho players in double-figures. Tyler Robinett (13), Drew Wyman (12), Straton Rogers (11) and Samaje Morgan (11) were also able to surpass the 10-point mark. The Yotes hit (13) 3-pointers on the night and shot 19-of-31 (61.3%) in the first half.
