COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — Walla Walla Men's Soccer battled in the rain against (RV) Eastern Oregon, but it was the Mountaineers who came out on top in a 3-1 Cascade Conference contest on Sunday.
Eastern Oregon (5-0-2, 2-0) got on the board first with a shot by Marcos Bravo in the 29th minute followed by a goal by Daniel Kropf six minutes later.Â
Walla Walla (1-1, 1-1) was able to get on the board just before the half with the third goal of the season by
Paulo Tostado. EOU put the game away with the lone second half goal by Pablo Cardenas-Sanchez in the 64th minute. Sebas Vargas had eight goals for the Wolves in the game.
