Shorthanded Wolves Lose to Yotes

COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — The Walla Walla Women's Basketball team played with just six players in an 82-35 loss to (RV) College of Idaho in a Cascade Conference game on Saturday night.

The injuries continued to pile up for the Wolves, who were without their top two scorers and down to just six players healthy enough to play. Five of the six players played 33 minutes or more for WWU, no player on the Yotes saw more than 20 minutes of play time.

Walla Walla dropped to 3-15 on the season after a third straight loss and 1-11 in conference play. College of Idaho improved to 14-6 overall and 8-4 in CCC play.

Allison Haslam had her second straight double-figure performance with 15 points with three 3-pointers. Sidney Folkenberg just missed out on a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Maddie Dietrich battled for eight boards and two steals.

Anna Mooney led 12 CI players who scored in the contest with 15 points and four 3s. Brooke Beresford added 12 points and Annie Stinar had four blocks.
