WWU Women’s Basketball vs. Eastern Oregon University

LA GRANDE, Ore. – It was a tough night for Walla Walla University's women's basketball team Wednesday, when they traveled to La Grande. They faced a familiar opponent – Eastern Oregon University.

Eastern Oregon won the game 110-36 while shooting 52% from the field. The Wolves got behind early and were unable to really get much going against an Eastern team, who executed well throughout.

Michaela Garcia led the Wolves in scoring, putting up 16 points. She also came away with a team high eight rebounds. Emily Field chipped in 10 points and four rebounds.

Walla Walla had 18 turnovers leading to 33 fast break points for Eastern Oregon, a number they will look to trim as they prepare for their next game.

This Monday, the women travel to Redding, California where they will matchup against Simpson University.
