WWU Men’s Basketball vs. University of Idaho Vandals

The Walla Walla University men's basketball team had their hands full Thursday evening, when they took on the University of Idaho Vandals.

86-39 was the final score, and the Wolves really struggled against a stout University of Idaho squad. Shooting 26% from the field over the course of the game, offense was tough to come by for Walla Walla.

Jordan Spady led the team in scoring with 11 points in 21 minutes. Luke Spady added five points, three assists, and two steals. The Wolves were without starting guard Tyreek Luckett, who remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Another area the Wolves struggled with was their rebounding. Walla Walla was outrebounded 24-48, and was really challenged by the length of the Vandals.

Connor Hill led University of Idaho with 19 points, including 5 of 7 makes from deep.

The University of Idaho (5-5) is a member of the Big Sky Conference, and will open their league play January 1.
