Wolves Fall to Northwest 0-5

Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – Northwest University (4-5, 2-2) used a 29-9 shot advantage to take the win over Walla Walla University (0-5, 0-5).
 
Both teams were on the attack early but Northwest's Chris Iacolucci found the back of the net from a Jake Morse pass to break the tie at the 24th minute. Chris and Jake teamed up again three minutes later but in reverse roles as Jake drilled a volley shot across the goal to help his team take a 2-0 lead which they would hold going into the half.
 
The Wolves goal keeper, Josh Fry, ended the half with six saves while Daniel Christenson from the Eagles had two.
 
The Eagles would score three more times in the second half once each by Jacob Weaver, Kyle Zimmerman and Jonathan Ellis in the 61st, 63rd and 82nd minute. The Wolves had good looks at the goal by Aaron Martinez, Brook Fesler, Marco Martinez, Oyefeso Foluwasomi and Arnoldo Caldera but NU's Goal Keeper, Daniel Christenson, was ready for all the shots.
 
Daniel Christenson ended the game with five saves while Josh Fry and Aubrey Fautheree had six saves each.
 
The Wolves next game is Saturday, October 3 vs The Evergreen State College.
