Wolves Soccer Falls to Evergreen State

Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – The Evergreen State College (7-1, 4-1) defeats Walla Walla University (0-6, 0-6) by a score of 11-0.

Evergreen got on the board early when Tanner Williams found the back of the net just: 52 seconds into the game off an Angel Guerra assist. It would prove to be a good night for Tanner as he scored two more goals and was credited with two assists.

Juan Lopez would also come up big for the Geoducks offense by recording his own hat trick by scoring twice in the first half and once in the second. Other goal scorers for Evergreen where Juan Oropeza (3:35), Ryan Porch (13:00), Ziggy Awad (35:27), Connor Beck (42:19) and Issa Hassan (60:10).

For the Wolves, Greg Scheuerman and Austin Kidder had their shots on goal but goal keeper Angel Guerra was able to come away with both saves. Aubrey Fautheree, WWU's goal keeper was able to stop seven of the eighteen shots on goal.

The Wolves stay at home this next week with games on Friday and Sunday, both at 3:00pm, against Warner Pacific and Eastern Oregon.
