Lauren Pernu Shines in Loss to Northwest Christian

455EUGENE, Ore. – The game was never in doubt for the Beacons who opened up a 28-11 lead over the Wolves by the end of the first quarter and never looked back.

The Beacons (8-5, 4-2 CCC)  had the green light was on all-night as the team took 91 field goal attempts including 41 from beyond the arc to finish with a 44% shooting clip.
 
The Wolves (0-10, 0-5 CCC) shot just 30% in the game and were 0-for-5 from three-point range, relying heavily on the presence of Lauren Pernu, scoring 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting. The senior added a team-high six rebounds and was the only Wolf in double-figures.
 
NCU was led by Andrea Gloss, shooting 9-for-11 for 19 points. Niki Duncan added 11 points, hitting three triples. Jenna Christinson came off the bench to score 15, going 4-for-8 from three-point range and Hoffert scored 15 points, ten rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two steals.
 
The Wolves are back in action tomorrow night against Corban University at 1:00 pm.
