College Place, Wash. – This Thursday and Friday the Wolves take on the Multnomah Lions. The Lions Men's Basketball is ranked 10th in the CCC with a record of 1-8 (4-14 overall). Multnomah's Women's Basketball is ranked 11th in the CCC with a record of 0-9 (0-19 overall).

The Breakdown
 
Multnomah is ranked 10th in the CCC conference with one win against Evergreen State College. Their leader is Brett Blackstock, and he averages about 15 points and 7 rebounds a game for the Lions. Multnomah averages about 77 points per game and are solid at the free throw line, with an average of .749 for the season. Walla Walla is currently ranked 11th in the CCC with 1-9 in conference, and 5-15 overall. It will be interesting to see these teams compete and it should be a tight game, as Multnomah is currently ranked 10th.

The Breakdown
Multnomah is led by Valerie Wakefield, averaging 8.1 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game. The Lions have a consistent offense with four girls averaging above 7 points per game. Marquel Greene leads them with 9.6 ppg in the 7 games she had played. The Wolves will have to prepare for a multitude of shots from Wakefield and Greene in the upcoming matches, as well as assists from Wakefield as she leads the team. This Thursday and Friday should have close matchups with Walla Walla having a record of 0-10 in conference, barely behind the Lions record of 0-9.
